About the Costumes

Ballet Hispánico is working with costume designer Mark Eric in creating the costumes for Doña Perón. Eric is a costume and fashion designer based in New York City, where he trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology. After designing for several New York City fashion houses, he discovered his passion for costuming for the stage. He enjoys bringing his couture fashion sensibility to his design, often employing artisanal techniques when creating his signature costumes.

Together, Mark Eric and the Ballet Hispánico wardrobe department will oversee the creation of nearly 100 costumes for the New York premiere of Doña Perón, April 1-3, 2022, at New York City Center. We invite you to become part of Mark Eric's unique vision by supporting Doña Perón's signature costumes. Your support today will lead to the creation of this exemplary ballet.
