Classy Waives Fees on #GivingTuesday for the Third Year in a Row
We’re thrilled to announce that for the third year in a row, Classy is waiving all transaction fees on #GivingTuesday—November 29, 2016—for every organization on our platform. And for those who are not yet part of the Classy community, you can sign up and design a campaign that stands above the crowd—all for free.
Giving back is the heart of everything we do here at Classy, so it’s only fitting that we do so on the biggest giving day of the year.
This bold decision has been part of our 1% Pledge to commit a percentage of our time, equity, or product to philanthropy. For the last two years, we’ve dedicated one percent of our product back to every organization on our platform by waiving all Classy transaction fees on #GivingTuesday. And as the giving day has taken off, we’ve been honored to give more and more funding back into the hands of our partners.
In 2014, Classy gave $15,000 back to organizations on our platform. In 2015, this total spiked to $56,000. Now we’re excited to see what this third year has in store!
