Scot Chisholm, co-founder & CEO
Scot co-founded StayClassy in 2006 to raise money for cancer research after his mother had battled the disease multiple times. Since then, StayClassy has grown into a powerful fundraising and community engagement platform that powers the fundraising of over 1,000 nonprofit organizations worldwide, including Oxfam, National Breast Cancer Foundation and Invisible Children. Scot was selected by Businessweek as one of the top 5 Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs in America and serves on the board of Team Rubicon and Jeans 4 Justice.
He is also a frequent event speaker on startups, leadership & social impact, including a recent TEDx talk on social entrepreneurship. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Meet with Scot →
Pat Walsh, co-founder & CIO
Pat co-founded StayClassy in 2006, and leads our efforts on the Annual CLASSY Awards and Collaborative. He has led the company’s business development & marketing initiatives, and contributes to the overall design and vision of the platform.

Todd Crutchfield, COO
A technical leader with a background in managing both hardware and software product development teams from concept to production. Pete Nystrom, VP of Engineering
Pete began working with StayClassy.org as an IT consultant and web developer in early 2008, and has held the position as VP of Engineering since 2009. He focuses on managing the web development team and handling product integration into the current website.
Pete has fifteen years of experience as a developer building websites and internal enterprise systems. He was the lead developer and team lead on the National Science Foundation website redesign, that won a People’s Choice Webby Award for best government website before coming to San Diego and joining StayClassy. Mike Spear, Director of Platform Engagement
A member of the StayClassy team for more than 4 years, Mike has filled a variety of roles from customer engagement to marketing. He currently leads StayClassy’s business development efforts and is developing its community of strategic consulting and technology partners.
Before joining StayClassy, Mike worked as a freelance filmmaker, journalist, and semi-professional poker player, and holds a bachelor’s in American literature from UCLA, and has a master’s degree in journalism from NYU. Meet with Mike →
Sean Chisholm, Director of Marketing
Avid IPA lover and Boston sports enthusiast, Sean has worn many hats since coming to StayClassy over 3 years ago. Trained as an attorney he has served as StayClassy’s in house counsel, but over time has assumed the role of Director of Marketing, leading the company’s marketing initiatives. Tim Gumto, Senior Software Developer
Tim grew up in Pittsburgh, PA before earning a Bachelor’s in Science in Architecture at the University of Virginia. After working as an architect in Boston, Tim moved to California and transitioned to virtual architecture, eventually settling in San Diego. Tim and his wife Jenna have a three-year-old daughter, Maya. Tim is an expert in PHP, and is the primary developer behind our Salesforce Integration. Meet with Tim →
Sarah Trowbridge, Director of Sales
A San Diego native, and UCSB graduate with over 10 years of experience in technology sales, Sarah recently took over as head of StayClassy’s rapidly growing sales team. Matt Scott, Business Development
Filled with energy and intensely curious, Matt seeks opportunities to leverage his skills and training in business with his passion for mission driven non-profits. Pulling from his experience in Salesforce reporting and analytics, Matt develops strategic plans to drive donations to growing organizations, and has been one of the chief advisors in developing StayClassy’s Salesforce App.
