How to Support Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

After breaking all continental U.S. tropical cyclone rain records, Harvey has receded, but affected communities along the Gulf Coast of Texas must now deal with the aftermath—including debris, fallen trees, and destroyed homes.

Though the storm is over, relief efforts are far from over. Organizations are still in need of support to provide the appropriate aid and rebuilding services. The following Classy partners are mobilizing response and recovery efforts and need your support.

SBP is dedicated to helping affected communities recover by providing training, advisory services, and rebuilding efforts. The organization is getting ready to deploy resources where needed most.

Austin Disaster Relief Network

Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) empowers churches and thousands of trained volunteers to organize, prepare, and respond quickly to disasters. The organization is collecting funds to distribute supporting supplies and materials, volunteer support, equipment, shelter, transportation, and more.

Team Rubicon

Team Rubicon is a disaster relief organization that connects the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to deploy emergency response teams. They are preparing and positioning resources to dispatch.

All Hands Volunteers

All Hands Volunteers engages volunteers, partner organizations, and local communities to aid communities affected by natural disasters. The nonprofit is preparing their largest disaster response to date.


Soles4Souls creates jobs and provides relief by distributing clothes and shoes. They are mobilizing relief efforts to aid families affected by Harvey.

Operation USA

Operation USA provides long-term health, education, and youth development programs to those affected by disasters. The organization will distribute both financial and in-kind recovery aid to families in need.

Watts of Love

Watts of Love provides solar technology to those living in poverty. They are raising funds to deliver solar powered headlights to first responders as well as solar lights for families and homes without power. works to protect people, pets, and the planet. The organization has mobilized resources reach those in need.

Feeding Children Everywhere

Feeding Children Everywhere activates people to build a hunger-free world. They are raising funds to provide healthy meals to those affected by the disaster.

Operation Warm

Operation Warm delivers brand new winter coats to children in need. The nonprofit is sending clothes to families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization that’s feeding the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, and disaster response. They are currently on the ground distributing emergency supplies.

WorldVentures Foundation

WorldVentures Foundation incites positive change for children around the world. The organization is providing relief services focusing on children, such as delivering emergency supplies, setting up kid-friendly play spaces, providing support to help children cope with difficult emotions, and more.

Samaritan’s Purse

Samaritan’s Purse is a faith-based organization providing spiritual and physical support to people in need around the world. The organization has deployed relief units to Texas and will continue to set up more.

Mobile Loaves & Fishes

Mobile Loaves & Fishes empowers communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. The nonprofit is currently assessing the situation to provide aid to where it’s needed most.

WellLife Network

WellLife Network supports individuals in achieving health, recovery, wellness, and independence. The nonprofit has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide mental health support to survivors and relief workers.

Cooperative Baptist Fellowship

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship helps people apply their faith through ministry efforts, global missions, and a community of support. The organization is mobilizing disaster relief efforts.

Community Solutions

Community Solutions distributes tools from multiple sectors to end homelessness and its causes. The nonprofit’s staff and board have pledged a pool of matching funds to support the Houston Coalition for the Homeless in the wake of Harvey.

Operation Supply Drop
