Flame of Hope
Community Runs
Presented by Law Enforcement Torch Run
About the Flame of Hope
Annually every year the symbolic torch is run from Lansing to Mt. Pleasant to light the cauldron at our State Summer Games. At our statewide tournaments we continue to carry the Flame of Hope and light the cauldron at these events to signify the events taking place. As a participant in the Flame of Hope Community Runs whether it be in person or virtually you are Guardians of the Flame for the athletes who compete year round for Special Olympics MIchigan. When carrying the torch in your local community or virtually you provide hope, courage and inspiration to those with intellectual disabilities. You can run/jog/big/walk/bring along fido to any of our Flame of Hope runs or when you register virtually!
