Ways To Help
A dedicated group of Marleys Mutts therapy dogs and their handlers providing a positive and important service to the community by making a positive impact on all whose lives we touch!
Mutt Movers is a unique opportunity for Marley's Mutts to network and transport homeless dogs to rescue partners who have the space and resources to help. The reality in rescue is that no single rescue group can help or save every single homeless dog in their community.
Impact level description will go here - e.g., This is crucial for Marley’s Mutts® partners with California state prisons to select 24-30 incarcerated individuals and 8-10 at-risk shelter dogs for each prison program cycle. Interested candidates submit an application for the program, write an essay and undergo an interview. Those chosen for the program submit to a 14 week course, that involves very challenging blocks of course work which involve weekly homework assignments and personal goals, general sanitation, health and agriculture.
MARLEY’S MUTTS DOG RESCUE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of Kern County’s shelter animals. With shelters overcrowded, euthanasia is often the only solution the county has to control the population. Lost and abandoned dogs need all of us to save them from death. While we don’t take strays off of the street, we do offer resources for adoptions, training, rehoming and networking.
Home. It’s the most precious gift for a rescue. Dogs know when they're safe. Wanted. Loved. This holiday season, let’s work together to give as many of these gifts as possible. And for all our animals waiting for that gift of home, let’s provide them hope for a happier tomorrow.
