Building Hope has raised $4,071,457 out of their goal of $3,990,000
MBW MAIN CAMPUS - PHASE 1
MBW will begin construction on our new Main Campus which will be located on almost four acres on Donoe Bypass and we need YOU to help us Build Hope!
The campus will be built in phases and consist of 3 main structures including:
Phase 1: The Stephenson Family Welcome Center
The Stephenson Family Welcome Center will house the industrial kitchen, the MBW Cafe and Bakery, the banquet hall, educational classrooms, and offices. Visitors can come and explore our programs while enjoying the products that are created by the MBW students.
Phase 2: MBW Workshop Center
This building will house the workshop programs, the marine division, and automotive. MBW Workshop students will be a part of the entire campus build out that will be open to the public to receive services and learn more about the mission of MBW.
Phase 3: Community Center
This center will allow for sports, arts, music, drama, and live events to take place on the campus. This center will appeal to a younger demographic and also encourage community involvement on the campus, broadening our impact.
MBW has had a long lasting impact on the members of our community through disaster response and workforce development. The increase in space will allow for MBW to respond quickly (and on a larger scale) to disasters as we did after the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria and through the hardships of Covid-19 while keeping our youth engaged in our program. With the additional programs, MBW will have the ability to work with older populations in workforce development for individuals needing to change career paths after life altering events and also be able to work with clients who have special needs or disabilities to help obtain employment.
Our children are our future and by offering them a better option, YOU are making our island a better place for future generations.
Together we will build a better tomorrow!
