What is One Health Plus?
One Health Plus is an initiative that improves lives in Guatemala by addressing critical needs:
- Food Security: Providing nutritious meals and training farmers in sustainable techniques.
- Education and Spiritual Renewal: Partnering with local churches to strengthen values, educate, and inspire hope.
- Sustainability: Teaching communities how to care for the land and generate income, fostering resilience and independence.
A Journey of Growing Grace
This year has been nothing short of extraordinary! In 2024, together with our partners and supporters, we've made transformative strides toward creating thriving, sustainable communities.
🌟 Launched our first pilot project with Grace, setting the stage for long-term success.
🌱 Prepared the soil of a once-barren farm, bringing it back to life.
⚙️ Fixed a broken water pump, ensuring a steady water supply for crops.
💦 Installed an irrigation system covering half the farm, paving the way for sustainable agriculture.
🌾 Conducted 3-month trials with a variety of seeds to identify the most fruitful options.
🥬 Harvested an incredible 1,500 pounds in just the first six months—proof that dedication and innovation work!
🫓 Installed a cutting-edge extruder in our kitchen lab to expand local food production and nutritional options.
