About the Campaign
On February 24, 2017, our son, 8-year-old Griffin Martin, suffered a cardiac arrest at school while playing with his friends at recess.
Despite early CPR by school staff and ongoing efforts by paramedics and ER doctors to resuscitate him, Griffin was pronounced dead in hospital a few hours later.
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED), applied in the critical first few minutes after his collapse, may have saved his life.
Now we, his family and our supporters, are partnering with The Mikey Network to raise money to fund AEDs for schools.
Please donate now to help make AEDs in all schools a reality. It could save the life other children like Griffin, school staff or even those living in the neighbourhoods of schools.
