Fuel our work for animals and their people

Members of tribal nations tell us that animals are integral to their cultural, spiritual, and personal lives. Yet New Mexico’s tribal communities often face more barriers to accessible and affordable animal care services than non-tribal individuals.

Animal Protection New Mexico works across all its program areas to help fill some of those gaps by assisting tribes with the tools they want and need to create the humane communities they deserve to have.
