United Way of Northern Nevada  and the Sierra serves a vast region spanning 13 counties, encompassing over 856,921 individuals across 69,784 square miles—an area 39% larger than England! 

Whether it’s training teachers at Pre-K centers, implementing early literacy programs in elementary schools, or activating philanthropy in the workplace, our team travels to our communities to help create opportunities for children, families, and individuals to realize their full potential. 

On average, our team travels 1357 miles per month to ensure our services reach those who need them most.
