About Eddie's Ministry
Eddie and his wife Macarena Aldape were commissioned in 2001 to serve among the Banjara people in India. In 2015, they relocated to AlmerÃa, Spain where they serve among immigrant, refugee and student populations through Centro de Esperanza (The Hope Center).
Those who are migrating experience many difficulties once they arrive in a new place. Lack of income, housing, and language skills makes finding work difficult. Many immigrants lack basic needs like food and adequate housing.
Centro de Esperanza helps to meet these basic needs while sharing the love of Christ through a food pantry, a clothes closet, literacy classes for adults and after school activities for children. Additionally, partners provide information on housing, employment opportunities, furniture, etc. Immigrants and refugees find hope when they know people care for them and they are not alone on their journey.
Eddie builds relationships with individuals as he walks alongside these communities in their times of need, equipping them with the tools to adapt to their new home as he bears witness to Jesus Christ by loving and caring for those he meets.
