About the Campaign

Across the country, people who can't afford legal help are forced to choose to either represent themselves in court or forego legal action entirely. Equal Justice America believes that income should not determine outcomes in the US justice system, and is committed to ensuring that legal help is available to those who need it most, including:

Victims of domestic violence
Asylum seekers and immigrants
People at risk of losing their home due to wrongful foreclosures and evictions
Veterans at risk of being denied benefits
LBGTQ students fighting for civil and equal rights in their schools
Students at risk of entering the justice system
People who are homeless or indigent
