Honoring our Donors, Uplifting Teacher Wellbeing!
“What I learned is that at the end of the day it’s a process. Just like hitting the gym, growth as a team is a process.
We all began at a certain level, we maintained consistency, carved out the necessary time and space, held ourselves accountable, and most importantly, we were willing to do something completely different that took wholehearted commitment.
Once we crossed that threshold, the real magic happened, and that’s when you start reaping the incredible benefits of everyone’s hard work."

About Healing Schools Project
Founded by a Black teacher, Wenimo Okoya, Healing School Project’s programs were centered around teachers of color; when programs are built around those furthest away from systemic privilege, everyone benefits.
As a team we are uniquely equipped to work with K-12 schools, due to our personal experiences as educators and practitioners at the intersection of health and education.
We believe in a future where all schools are places where people feel safe and supported mentally, emotionally, psychologically while centering joy and wellbeing for their teachers and students.
