Ahicam Children's Home is located in a rural town of Machaquila, Guatemala, and has more than 50 at-risk orphans ranging from ages 1 to 18. Some of the children suffer from physical or mental disabilities. Each child at Ahicam receives a Christian education, food, housing, and basic care. Because of their commitment to sharing the love of Christ with children who have been abandoned or displaced, Ahicam provides a safe environment for children to grow in the Lord and break the cycle of violence and poverty.

How can I help?

UCA has supported Ahicam Children's Home for the past 9 years by sending student mission teams, raising funds for special projects at the home, and covering the children in prayer.

Join us this year as we seek to raise $5,000 in just THREE DAYS to support the children at Ahicam Children's Home!

Everyone loves a little healthy competition, right?!

All of our classes and grade levels will be rewarded for their participation in this year's Guatemala fundraiser as follows:

ELEMENTARY

• Every class that has 90% or higher in class participation will earn FREE DRESS DAYS!
• The class with the most participation throughout the week will receive a PIZZA PARTY!

(Based on class participation, NOT dollar amount)

JUNIOR HIGH

• The class with the most money donated by the end of Wednesday will receive a ROOT BEER FLOAT PARTY!

• (Junior high students can earn 1 hour of Heart for Service for every $10 donated.  *Limit 2 Heart for Service hours allowed.)

HIGH SCHOOL

• The class with the most money donated by the end of Wednesday will receive a PIZZA PARTY!

(High school students can earn 2 hours of Community Service for every $10 donated)
