About the Campaign
YOUR GIFT IS MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR NOW THROUGH 12/3!
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving created to foster a brighter future for our world. This #GivingTuesday we hope you'll join in our momentum to reduce veteran suicide and dog euthanasia by giving a gift of any amount to to support our mission. Your contributions bring deserving veterans together with service-trained, rescue dogs to help both recover and move forward.
Thanks to the generosity of Clark Gives, the impact of your gift through Tuesday, December 3rd is DOUBLED up to $10,000!
It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.
At Shelter to Soldier, we adopt dogs from local shelters and train them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST). The program also places emotional support animals (ESAs) with active duty military and veterans, and deploys the Shelter to Soldier Canine Ambassadors therapy dog team to serve the active duty military and veteran communities.
We can't do the lifesaving work we do day-in an day-out without your support. Thank you for your part in making the road ahead lighter for veterans and rescue dogs in need of our program.
Your Support Matters
Life-Changing Impact Starts Here
Your donation helps provide enrichment items for a service dog in training for one month of their 12-18 month-long training journey in our program.
Give the gift of a well-deserved reward for a service dog in training. Your support helps to fuel reinforcement of training commands that directly support the mental health of the veterans we serve.
Support of our Shelter to Soldier Canine Ambassadors therapy dog team helps to fuel community impact, as these volunteer teams spread love and comfort to local military, veterans and their families.
Your support helps a once homeless dog prepare to become a psychiatric service dog for a post-9/11 veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Military Sexual Trauma. Each dog undergoes 12-18 months of around the clock training to prepare for service dog life.
