Overnight hospital stay $176

This will cover a night of basic hospitalization, crucial as we cannot provide overnight hospital care at the shelter, and late at night is often when we get some of the most critical animals such as animals who have been shot or stabbed, or hit by cars.

Donate

Emergency Surgery $529

When pets arrive ill or injured in the middle of the night or require specialized surgery not available at the shelter, we can refer them to a local veterinary hospital for timely treatment, like removing the bullet from Snoopy's shoulder.

YOUR GIFT WILL GIVE PETS WHO NEED URGENT MEDICAL CARE

THE SECOND CHANCE THEY DESERVE!

Every day pets arrive at the shelter needing diagnostics and surgical procedures that are beyond what we can do in-house. Sometimes they even come to us in the middle of the night and require immediate specialized care when there is no veterinarian on site.

Snoopy has a new life and a new family because he got the emergency surgery he needed to remove a bullet from his shoulder thanks to generous donors who supported the Yoda Fund for dogs in need of urgent medical care.

Thanks to generous donors like you who have supported our urgent medical funds, ACCT Philly has been able to partner with local veterinary hospitals to get homeless pets who are ill or injured the specialized medical care they need when they need it.

Skinny Biscuits recieved a lifesaving blood transfusion because generous donors supported the Stella Fund for cats in need of urgent medical care.  Now called Puppet, she is making the most of her second chance as a well-loved and very pampered family member.

ACCT Philly's Urgent Medical Funds, and the lifesaving efforts they provide, are made possible by gifts from donors like you!

Our veterinary partners provide their services at a discount, but the cost of care remains high. Thanks to donations made last Giving Tuesday and throughout the year from caring people like you, in the past 12 months we were able to provide over $300,000 in offsite medical services for hospital stays, pain medication, oxygen, surgeries and other specialized care, giving vulnerable dogs and cats a second chance they would not otherwise have had.

This Giving Tuesday make a donation and give second chances to the homeless and medically urgent dogs and cats who we know will need us tomorrow.

Your gift today to the Yoda Fund will help dogs in need of urgent medical care.

Your gift today to the Stella Fund will help cats in need of urgent medical care.

Your gift today to the the Urgent Medical Fund will be used where it is needed most and will help both dogs and cats.

Give today to double your impact!
