Help Denny Blaine be its best! has raised $9,693 out of their goal of $432,200
How To Help
This donation can go toward items like one water test kit and one volunteer training to help monitor water safety for swimmers.
This donation can support purchasing groups of native plants to replace invasive plants and provide more habitat for native insects and pollinators.
This donation can go toward artist stipends for their work in designing fundraising merch for Friends of Denny Blaine Park, or for a performer.
About the Campaign
Friends of Denny Blaine Park believes that public spaces are for the public, and we’ve worked hard to ensure our park stays that way. Denny Blaine Park is a beloved third place while also being one of the few free and sober hubs for Seattle’s LGBT and nudist communities.
This fundraiser is an opportunity for our incredible community to come together in support of tangible things that will enrich Denny Blaine Park and make it safer, accessible, and even more beautiful.
The below items are things we can do today to improve the space, including funding for planning and design that will help realize our vision of onsite bathrooms, ADA infrastructure, potential shuttle services, and more. These improvements will come at an additional cost, which will be shared once the planning and design phases are complete.
