Help us build our Reefscape Robot!

About the LionBots

LionBot Robotics is a robotics team based at KIPP King Collegiate High School in San Lorenzo, CA. We are a diverse group of motivated students eager to enhance our STEM knowledge through hands-on robotics experience.

Our team competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition, where we design, program, and construct a robot to perform a task assigned each year, all within just six weeks. This program provides members with invaluable exposure to various aspects of robotics, such as technical design, computer programming, and business management, simulating real-world work environments that traditional education cannot offer.

To ensure we have a successful season, we need support from our community. As a Title 1 school, we receive minimal financial assistance, with most of our funding coming from grants, sponsorships, and generous donors like you. This year, we are operating on a tighter build budget than usual. While we view this as an engineering challenge, our budget constraints are significant and will impact our ability to compete effectively. Any support you can provide will be much appreciated and will contribute to our mission "Making STEM education accessible to all!"
