Help Refugees in Crisis Make Cleveland Their Home has raised $44,350 out of their goal of $40,000
As the crisis in Afghanistan continues, help provide urgent support for refugees as they arrive in Northeast Ohio. With your contribution, these refugees can begin to rebuild their shattered lives in safety.
WILL YOU DONATE TO HELP REFUGEES DURING THIS CRISIS?
The events unfolding in Afghanistan are tragic. Afghans have lost everything as they were uprooted from their homes and lives. Hundreds of refugees, including our Afghan allies, are relying on your support as they arrive in Cleveland over the coming weeks and months.
USCRI Cleveland's expert staff are working hard to help the hundreds of Afghans, including translators and military support staff, who have made it to the US. But we know this is just the beginning of the support they need. There was already a global refugee crisis before the fall of Kabul, and as a consequence of the current crisis, our services will be squeezed. We’re expecting to see increased demand, particularly for urgent mental health care, legal assistance and employment services as refugees struggle with the challenges brought on by this crisis.
We need your help more than ever before. Your contribution can help USCRI Cleveland provide life-changing services for refugees, Afghan allies and others, arriving in Cleveland. With your assistance, we can help refugees and immigrants live dignified lives with their rights respected and protected in communities of opportunity, aiding them in their journey to self-sufficiency in the United States.
HOW YOUR DONATION WILL TRANSFORM LIVES
We urgently need your help to support Afghan refugees and others like them. Every contribution helps to rebuild the lives of refugee families.
Please donate now.
