Impact Gifts
Explore theology through creative conversations with leading Baptist educators. IBTS has worked with leading educators and built a new approach to theological training that replaces the intensity of academic study with grounded conversations and supportive content. Will you support us in offering scholarships, residentials and quality online and in-person content?</p>
Empowering Scholars & Leaders in the Church for the World. The PhD Research Programme of IBTS (in partnership with the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam) is oriented towards those who are practically involved in leadership, ministry and mission in the European region and beyond. By actively engaging with significant social, cultural and political changes, we view this as an apprenticeship for life-long engagement in research and education. Support us in developing new pathways for researchers – particularly applicants who are women, those in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, or who are often excluded from education. Will you support us in training more students from diverse and marginalized backgrounds?
For cutting-edge research to be impactful and relevant it needs to connect with the everyday practices of the church. For decades, IBTS has achieved this through a community model, bringing practitioners and researchers together from across the world to our annual academic conferences. There is an energy when creative conversations happen cross-culturally, and we need your help to facilitate them. Will you underwrite the participation costs of gifted scholars and ministry leaders from diverse backgrounds who otherwise could not afford to attend?
About the Campaign
In the aftermath of war, Baptist leaders founded IBTS to promote Christian values of peace and reconciliation in a world that needed good news. 70 years later, IBTS finds itself once again providing critical support to those in leadership and ministry on the frontlines of war. Who will champion peace and reconciliation in these troubling times?
IBTS provides high quality resources, networks, and training to emerging leaders in practical missional situations, but we cannot do that without your support. 100% of gifts to this campaign will enable IBTS to equip and empower scholars and leaders who are making a critical difference in the world today. Will you partner with us?
