We always focus on Kindness here at John A. Sciole, but for the month of February we place even more of an emphasis on it and how we can do things in our daily lives to be kind to others. This year as our community project for our District’s Day of Kindness, we have chosen to fundraise for the P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative. P.U.N.T. is a nonprofit organization that provides families in Western New York facing pediatric cancer with critical programs that offer financial, practical, and emotional support from diagnosis to recovery and bereavement.

P.U.N.T. has always been close to our hearts here at Sciole but this year it is especially so. Currently, we have two students in our Sciole community, Evelyn and Lucas, battling pediatric cancer. P.U.N.T. will serve both of these families with proceeds raised from our efforts.
