Mental Health Awareness Month is a month dedicated to destigmatizing mental health challenges, raising public awareness, and advocating for greater access to support services, like ours. This month, Crisis Text Line places special emphasis on individuals openly discussing their mental health struggles, seeking help without fear of judgment, and fostering a supportive community where we empower others to take care of their own mental health.
With your donations, we are focused on amplifying our existing efforts to reach those in crisis, providing essential resources, and promoting self-care practices. A crisis is unique for each person, spanning from the pressures of college or homework to navigating personal relationships, and even grappling with self-harm or thoughts of suicide. By shining a light on mental health, we encourage individuals to prioritize their well-being and create a world that is more compassionate and understanding towards mental health challenges – a world where no one has to feel alone.
In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, we invite you to donate in direct support of helping individuals navigate their mental health. Your generous contributions help support access to free, confidential, and life-saving mental health care, advanced research, reducing the stigma, and helping to create space to advocate for policy change.
You Can Break the Stigma and Create a Fundraiser:
Did you know that just one volunteer can help hundreds if not thousands of texters? By training one volunteer, we can spread more empathy to people in crisis while making a huge impact in people's lives.
