Nest is a global nonprofit organization committed to reversing systemic social and economic inequities for women and historically marginalized communities around the world through investment in handwork. Currently serving over 2,000 artisan businesses, Nest’s comprehensive range of programming is designed to meet the artisan and maker partners where they are. The Ethical Handcraft Training Prograis an industry-wide transparency and training program for production taking place beyond the four-walled factory (i.e., small workshops and homes). Currently, the program impacts over 51,000 handworkers in 27 countries worldwide, revolutionizing the industry by making homework a safe and viable option.
