PEOPLE POWER IS COMMUNITY POWER: We gon' be alright!
Join The Laundromat Project for our 2024 People-Powered Challenge Campaign.
Our goal is to raise $60,000 over ten days,
from September 16th to 25th.
Taking action and being engaged isn’t about grand gestures. It’s the small but meaningful, consistent actions we take every day to improve our communities at a grassroots level. This is why our annual fundraising campaign is called “People Power” – it is in recognition of the collective impact of the many meaningful donations (no matter the size of each gift) that we receive.
About the Campaign:
Annually, the People-Powered Challenge is a fundraising campaign that strengthens the communities we serve by recruiting new and old supporters to invest in The LP’s work.
The campaign will take place starting September 16th to September 25th. We need your help to get us to our goal of $60,000!
Here's how you can get involved:
About The LP:
The LP is a Black-rooted and POC-centered arts and social justice organization that advances artists and neighbors as change agents in their communities throughout New York City. We help incubate art and culture while fostering leadership through our celebrated Create Change Artist Residency and Fellowship program, the Creative Action Fund, and Community Engagement Programs.
Together, we know that we can reach our goal. Thank you for your support!
In community,
The LP Team
