So, you’re probably asking yourself, “who is crazy enough to run across the State of Michigan?” To answer your question, we’re just a bunch of college students. Seventy, to be precise. And all of us are ridiculously determined to help raise a ton of money for the Special Olympics!
Our Work with Special Olympics Michigan: Over the past few years, RAM has partnered with Special Olympics Michigan, allowing us to not only raise money for an amazing cause, but also to engage with members of the Special Olympics community. In the months leading up to RAM, all participants of RAM attend Special Olympics events, such as basketball practices and the Polar Plunge. On the day of RAM, Special Olympics athletes are also given the opportunity to meet us at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor for lunch and some fun relay races on the track. While raising money for an amazing organization is our main purpose, having the opportunity to interact with and get to know Special Olympics athletes is always the most meaningful part of the RAM experience.

Our goal: Last year, Race Across Michigan raised over $30,000 for Special Olympics Michigan!! We would love to beat that amount this year! Therefore, we have set a goal of $35,000!
