About the Campaign
The Forest Lake Academy Applied Robotics program requires the students to design a robot. Each year the students compete against other schools in a head-to-head fashion to determine who has the best robot in the NAD. During the course of the year, the students build and program robots that are capable of operating in both autonomous and tele-op modes. The robots are built out of aircraft aluminum, designed with industry-standard Computer Aided Design software, and programmed using the professional programming language Java and Android Studio IDE (Integrated Development Environment).
Productions such as this do not occur without a tremendous amount of effort and resources. Every cent helps as we seek to enrich our students, improve our curriculum, and host an amazing tournament. We would appreciate your support and investment into the lives of young people as they pursue the betterment of their world through robotic engineering.
