Honey Bee

Meet Honey Bee, a sweet and energetic 3-year-old lab mix who deserves a second chance at happiness. Rescued by Last Chance Animal Rescue, Honey Bee was adopted into a home that seemed like a great match. Her adoptive family loved her dearly and tried their best to make it work. Unfortunately, her high energy and need for specific training proved challenging, leading to her return.

But don't let this setback overshadow Honey Bee's potential. She's now thriving at St. Francis Farm, where she's receiving the love, care, and training she needs to become the best version of herself. However, we can't do it alone.

We're reaching out to you, our compassionate community, to help sponsor Honey Bee's ongoing care. Your donation will provide her with everything she needs to thrive while we work tirelessly to find her a forever home better suited to her energy and training requirements.

Every dollar you contribute goes directly towards Honey Bee's veterinary care, food, enrichment activities, and training sessions. Your generosity will not only change her life but also pave the way for another animal in need to find their happily ever after.

Please, join us in our mission to give Honey Bee the future she deserves. Together, we can make a difference in the life of this incredible dog. No donation is too small, and every act of kindness brings us one step closer to finding her forever family.

Thank you for opening your heart to Honey Bee and countless other animals like her. Your support means the world to us.

THE NEED

St. Francis Farm Sanctuary is part of Last Chance Animal Rescue. LCAR saves companion dogs and cats from kill shelters and transports them to our adoption program run by volunteers in Long Island, NY.

The sanctuary, located on 50 beautiful acres adjoining Sumter National Forest, offers our dogs, staff, and volunteers lots of room for activities, including long walks through the woods. Our cats have roomy "at home" areas in the farmhouse. All have 24/7 care.

St. Francis Farm fulfills our promise to those we rescue to ensure they have the best life possible for the rest of their lives. Sometimes, a forever home has unexpected issues, such as an adopter's death or the animal is no longer a fit for whatever reason. St. Francis Farm is here for these situations to ensure each animal rescued by LCAR has a life plan of love and care. This includes providing 24/7 care for animals requiring recovery from medical or surgical procedures and when ready, joins the adoption program.

The sanctuary is 100% dependent on donations to operate. Now, in its 10th year, we are asking you to help by sponsoring an animal. Shown with each animal are monthly or annual costs. Please consider your recurring donation, of any amount, to put toward the cat or dog you would like to support.

Your support is critical to our continued success at the sanctuary.
