Sprint Into 2024 has raised $11,980 out of their goal of $15,000
How to Support RRC
Show some love for our youth athletes! Donate a youth athlete's daily share of coach wages, launch upkeep, and equipment maintenance to support our mission to keep costs low for the next generation of rowers.
Support at the level of our adult members! Donate the cost of a monthly adult membership and help us support our masters athletes as we grow a positive team environment for our lifelong rowers.
Let's pull together to sprint into 2024 and get across the finish line of our biggest year yet! In 2023, we officially launched the Renton Rowing Center as an independent 501c3 nonprofit. We also added 8 additional boats to our fleet, as well as a brand new set of Concept2 sculling oars. We even sent our very first athlete to the US Youth National Championships! Now, we need your help to continue growing and providing water access to even more athletes in the south Lake Washington community.
With the help of you, our supporters, we are setting out to raise $15,000 before the end of the year. These funds will help us cover operational costs, such as wages for our incredible coaches and costs of new equipment, which ultimately keeps costs low for our athletes and breaks down barriers to entry for future rowers.
Join us for an Open House event on Saturday, December 2nd from 10am - 1pm! Meet our coaches, enjoy holiday treats, and even get a free Learn to Row lesson on the water, weather permitting. We'll also have raffle tickets available for purchase for some great themed raffle baskets. This event is hosted at our boathouse, located at 1060 Nishiwaki Lane at the end of the Cedar River Park Trail. All are welcome - we hope to see you there!
