About the Campaign

Let's pull together to sprint into 2025 and get across the finish line of the first decade of the Renton Rowing Center! In 2024, we brought home our first Youth Regional Championship in the Womens 2V Double. We also qualified and raced our Youth Mens Pair at the Youth National Championships, our second year in a row qualifying an event. Our adult membership saw historic growth, hitting 60 members for the first time in RRC history. We also had another great year for expanding our fleet, adding a total of 8 additional seats to the boathouse. Finally, we're so excited to announce that we have purchased a larger boat trailer to accommodate our growing competitive adult and youth teams!

Now, we need your help to continue getting our rowers to new places and more races! We've seen the long term mental, social, and physical benefits on our athletes, but we need the support of our community to keep opening doors to the sport of rowing in Renton.

With the help of you, our supporters, we are setting out to raise $15,000 before the end of the year. These funds will help us cover operational costs, ranging from the salaries for our incredible coaches to investments like the new trailer. Offsetting these expenses through fundraising helps us achieve our ultimate goal: to keep costs low for our athletes and break down as many barriers to entry as possible for future rowers.
