A $50 donation can buy a compact camp stove, fuel, or kitchen gear for outings in the backcountry.

A $100 donation can buy a pair of climbing shoes, a harness, or multiple carabiners and belay devices to help us build a healthy rock climbing program.

A $150 donation can buy a PFD (personal flotation device) or a high-volume backpack.

A donation of $250 can buy a sturdy pair of mountaineering boots or a long-lasting backpacking tent.

About the Campaign

Sufferfest is one of Friends of ROAM's biggest annual fundraising events. ROAM youth hike a ridiculously steep trail while adding extra weight to their packs. Sponsors donate by the pound. More weight carried=more money earned. Flat donations are welcome as well. Any amount helps. Will you help us meet our $25,000 challenge grant? (Note: the items above are examples of what can be purchased at a given amount; donations will be allocated according to program needs.)
