Suicide Prevention Month/WMHD 2024 has raised $8,106 out of their goal of $8,000
For Suicide Prevention Month and World Mental Health Day, Crisis Text Line is committed to raising awareness, providing crucial support for those in crisis, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. Through this campaign, we aim to empower individuals to bring back real connections by checking in on people they know with the goal of fostering a sense of community and belonging and letting individuals know they’re not alone in their struggles.
Suicide Prevention Month, recognized every September, is a dedicated time to raise awareness about suicide, provide education on prevention and encourage open conversations about mental health. It serves as a critical time for communities, organizations and individuals to come together to address the alarming rates of suicide and promote mental health awareness.
Every day, countless individuals face overwhelming mental health challenges, and our volunteer Crisis Counselors are here 24/7 to offer a compassionate ear and connect them with the help they need. Join us in creating a world where no one has to face their darkest moments alone or suffer in silence. Your support will make a real difference in saving lives.
We hope you’ll join us in our mission to help prevent suicide and promote mental well-being.
