Support Palestinian Refugees

Working Against Trauma, Violence & Scarcity

About the Campaign

Join us and thousands of concerned individuals and institutions to support Palestinian refugees during this emergency period.

You can do this through 1for3.org.  We are a 501c3 registered charity in Massachusetts that has worked with Palestinian refugees in the West Bank for nearly 15 years.

1for3 is Palestinian run, works in partnership, and safeguards refugee dignity; building for the long term, and responding to emergencies today.

Your support for Palestinian refugees is needed now more than ever!

The people of Gaza and the West Bank are facing Israeli military violence, the collapse of a healthcare system, and strangulation of an economy. Proud people with dignity are being reduced to inhuman situations in which they face death and destruction on a daily basis. We can do something right now to help.

1for3's programs in food, water, health, and education are community driven. In them are the building blocks for a healthy society fighting against apartheid laws, military and settler violence, and economic scarcity.

Did You Know?

  • Refugees are poorer and less served by medical care in the West Bank
  • Parents are unable to pay school fees & provide food on a daily basis
  • Night raids and arbitrary arrest and detention happen daily
  • Only 47% of Palestinian children in the West Bank experience development activities (over 50% do not)
  • Only 34% of children aged 3-to-4 attend early childhood care and education programs

Responding to the Current Situation

Since October 2023, the World Bank[1] estimates that nearly 200,000 Palestinian workers have lost their jobs due to Israel’s blockade of Palestinian living areas. These workers are the main cash drivers to this imprisoned society. The Bank notes that another 67,000 workers can no longer reach their jobs due to settler violence. Finally, Bethlehem is singled out for concern as its tourism-based economy has cratered. Overall, this means that the economy will be deprived of over $1.5 billion, which would normally go to households as income, the Palestinian Authority as taxes, and firms as profits. This ultimately means that poverty in grinding form is now wide-spread.
