About the Campaign
The focus of Runway, from the beginning, has been centered around people -- the models who bravely take our stage each year at our annual event and the families that we can help with the money raised.
Each of our models have their own story about what brings them to the Runway stage. We honor each of them and are here to provide a platform for them to amplify their experience and receive our support.
Runway models are changing the world for breast cancer, and we couldn't be more proud to stand with them as part of the Runway family.

Start Fundraising
Hotel Stay Close to Hospital $250
Raising $250 will allow a family to stay locally near the hospital while their mother is in end-stages of breast cancer. Many patients do not live close to Boston, and families are therefore traveling back and forth at the end of a Mom's life. Help families stay closer.
Gift a Child the Story of Their Mom $500
The story of mother's life is incredibly precious, and hard to perfectly capture; however, Runway has established a program at Boston hospitals where an author and digital specialist will go and capture as much of her story as possible before she passes away and then put the story into a book for the children. This book is an heirloom, and can be the gift of a lifetime.
Wellness and Social Worker Visit $1,000
What does a family need after they've lost a mother? Raise $1000 and you will be sending a professional social worker into the house of a family to asses their needs and make sure that daily routines are being met. The wraparound services that a family may need, from therapy to tutoring, to house cleaning, to wellness care are all possibilities that then Runway will seek to fund for a family.
Family Experience $2,000
If you can raise $1000, then you can certainly double that and give a family the opportunity to go away as a group and experience something new, providing them with an opportunity to connect with one another away from their daily routines, along with establishing new memories that allow them to LIVE in the memory of someone who they've lost.
