"If You Want To Go Fast Go Alone, If You Want To Go Far Go Together"
Invitation from Katherine Love Sherwen
"Hello from Karamoja!
I am riding 350 miles in the upcoming Tour of Karamoja to raise tuition for 20 vulnerable girls from host communties along the trail to offer them life changing vocational training at the Matany Girls' Vocational School.
The Tour of Karamoja, October 22-30th, traverses Uganda’s Warrior Nomad Trail in 563 kilometers ( 350 miles) and 5,970m elevation of climbing.
The Tour of Karamoja is an exhilarating trail ride through the hills and villages of the place & people that Paul loved best!
I invite you to support me to raise funds for this Paul Sherwen Project legacy project.
I’m kindly asking friends and family to make a simple pledge, and perhaps a vote of confidence, as I take on this important trek for all involved!"
Located in Karamoja, Matany Girls' School is the only community based vocational school for girls in Karamoja that offers quality and relevant skills training programs to vulnerable girls and out of school youth. The school's motto is "Skill and Empower a Girl".
