About the Event
Join SSG Travis Mills and the Travis Mills Foundation Team at its Fall Open House to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1002 Watson Pond Road, Rome, ME. Visitors can tour the Retreat's main building and new Health and Wellness Center, along with other enjoying activities, including, trick-or-treating, make and take crafts, face painting and tattoos, doughnut eating contest, hot dogs, cider and more. Costumes encouraged!
Also at the event the Foundation is selling a limited number of $25 raffle tickets for a handcrafted solo canoe built exclusively for Travis Mills Foundation by Russ Sabia, a summer resident on Long Pond.
Canoe details:
* 12' length, 28" beam - designed by Thomas Hill
* Okoume (mahogany) lapstrake planking and western red cedar rails and breasthook
* Ultra-light - Weighs approximately 27 pounds - easily carried and car-topped
* 120 hours of build time
