Giving Joy to Children in Grief.

Shepherd's Cove is dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care for our patients and their families. Many times, the ones who need the most support are the ones who cannot vocalize their needs in a way that we as adults understand.

Children are often regarded as “forgotten mourners” in the grief process. They deserve a safe space where they can be free to express their grief while on the end-of-life journey as a family member or as a pediatric patient.  

Our activity garden will be a place where children can engage in mental and physical activities, connect with nature, and access a space specifically designed for them to be who they are...children.

Join us on this journey to provide a haven for children who are dealing with the loss of a loved one as well as those on the end-of-life journey themselves.

Help us create a safe, joyful space for pediatric hospice patients and children visiting loved ones in our Inpatient Unit.
