Zach vs. The NYC Marathon

Hey, I'm Zach

Although significant progress has been made with cancer research and treatments, unfortunately cancer is still all too prevalent in todays society.

Once I heard about Cancer for College and the true impact they are having on young peoples lives, I knew I wanted to find a way to get involved and support this cause. 

On November 6, 2022 I will be running the New York City Marathon. I will be raising money for this great charity and 100% of donations will go towards helping a cancer survivor fulfill their dream of going to college. However, there is a twist. 

Long-time supporter of Cancer for College, Will Ferrell, ran the same marathon several years ago and posted a time of 3 hours and 56 minutes. My goal is to beat Will’s time. If I do not beat Will’s time, not only will I personally match each donation I receive, I will also cut my hair and donate it to charity. A tough pill to swallow for someone who’s had shoulder length hair for most of their life.
