Sr Technical Product Manager (Platform)

This Senior Product Manager is the type of person who does whatever it takes to deliver a high quality, best-in-class platform that thrills our internal and external customers. 

What you’ll do:

  • Build and manage the vision, strategy, and roadmap of internal core service tools and infrastructure
  • Work with development and architecture teams to define the technical roadmap
  • Partner with the customer-facing product managers to help them understand the present and future capabilities of our platform
  • Anticipate infrastructure needs to deliver the groundbreaking new features in the future
  • Deliver high impact solutions that ungate our development and product management teams 
  • Evaluate and prioritize potential features and projects 
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to handle new feature requests, prioritize work, an communicate progress
  • Be an evangelist for the use of the Classy Platform and infrastructure 
  • Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning

 

What you bring (Required):

  • 7+ years of product management experience in the software industry
  • 3+ years of API experience that include defining strategic visions and tactical ownership of building large scale platforms
  • Experience creating product and business requirements for highly-complex projects
  • Deep analytical thinking and the desire to bring data-driven insights to every discussion
  • Incredible attention to detail and can make quick, accurate and pragmatic decisions about what details are actually important
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional, high-performing teams
  • Excellent product judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to articulate and be persuasive while listening and incorporating the perspectives of others
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Science, Masters: Engineering General (preferred)
  • Non-Profit experience (preferred)
