Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst

Classy is seeking a detail-oriented, Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing monthly sales performance and processing and managing commissions for the quota carrying go to market teams at Classy.  Working cross functionally with GTM leaders to help align variable compensation design with our overall company goals. The Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst is a highly analytical individual, with a strong desire to design and process  commission structures for a variety of roles accurately and efficiently; as well as communicate results to stakeholders in a digestible manner.  As Classy seeks to provide scale and gain efficiencies in this area as we grow, this individual will be the point person in our implementation of a commission software tool.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze sales results and calculate commissions accurately and timely according to plan provisions 
  • Compile reports from various reporting systems, validating data and researching exceptions
  • Prepare commission statements and distribute to sales personnel
  • Lead commission office hours, answering questions and educating sales personnel on compensation plans and/or commissions
  • Respond to commission inquiries and resolve reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Prepare commission reporting, analyzing trends and providing insights
  • Participate in special projects (e.g. ad-hoc analyses, commissions modeling, new tool implementation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve compensation plan design, process, and administration

What you bring (Required):

  • 3+ years experience in sales compensation or a highly analytical role sales ops role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Advanced Excel skills, including ability to build complex models with many variables and datasets
  • Advanced Salesforce skills, including ability to build reports and dashboards
  • Experience with commission software tools such as Xactly, Callidus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively with management
