Dependency 101 addresses basic protocols for attorneys new to dependency law or looking for a refresher course.
We organized the seminar to follow dependency case stages, cover common issues, and review procedures that apply at each juncture.

This thorough training includes relevant child development material; child abuse/neglect elements; applicable substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health issues; family reunification and reasonable services; and the impact of these factors within the child welfare system.
Directions to Whittier Law School
The Law School is located at the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Sunflower Street, near the 405 (San Diego), 55 (Costa Mesa) and 5 (Santa Ana) freeways.
Please park in the main parking lot located at the Law Court entrance to the school (off of Harbor Boulevard). You will pass through a gate to enter the parking lot. You may also enter off of Sunflower Street. The gates should be up at both entrances. You may park in any space that is not designated for faculty/staff, or other reserved status.
The training will take place in Classroom 5, which is located in Building 3.
