2020 PA Virtual Run/Walk
to Fight Lymphedema (LE) & Lymphatic Diseases (LD)
At LE&RN, we are dedicated to the health and well being of all our advocates and supporters, not only during the COVID19 outbreak, but throughout the year as well. It is this dedication to your health that keeps us working harder than ever to bring about improved treatments and cures.
Your ongoing commitment to raising funds and awareness through your PA LymphWalk page helps us to accomplish those goals. We may not be gathering together at the Philadelphia Zoo this year, but that doesn't mean the fight has to end. It is important that we keep the community connected, and each of us can continue our efforts right in our own neighborhood by turning this event into a Virtual Walk.
What is a Virtual Walk?
A Virtual Walk is an individual, advocate-driven event that puts you in control of the distance, dates, times and location. You decide how far you want to walk, who you want to join you, and where you walk. Here are some examples of what other like-minded LE and LD advocates have done:
What are the next steps?
We want to see your LymphWalk efforts. Take photos of you and your team as you complete your Walk activity. All photos will be posted and shared with the community here on the PA LymphWalk page. We know your tenacity will inspire others in this movement, and let them know we are determined to move forward.
Whatever you decide to do, the point is you are dedicating your time and advocacy to improving the lives of all those living with LE and LD. Now more than ever, we need you to share the message with your friends and family, and ask them to continue to support your efforts on behalf of the 10 million Americans, and 250 million worldwide, living with lymphedema and lymphatic diseases. Together, we will continue the fight.
We're fundraising to make a difference in the lives of those living with LE & LD!
You can help fundraise for LE&RN once you register. Or just make a donation.
