It's almost time to Seize the Day!

And the weather forecast is looking better for the morning, but more on that soon! We hope to see you tomorrow (10/24) at Kirkwood Park for the 2021 St. Louis Seize the Day 5k Run/Walk.

Weather

We continue to monitor the weather for tomorrow at it looks like the storms will hold off until the eventing. As a reminder, we will proceed with the race if it is raining. However, if there is lightning or high winds in the area, we will delay the start or cancel if needed.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick is being held on Saturday, October 23 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Fleet Feet store in Des Peres located at 11731 Manchester Rd, Des Peres, MO 63131.

We encourage one member from each team to pick-up shirts for the entire team where possible.

If you haven't registered yet, please visit us at packet pick-up to sign up!

Attendees who have selected to participate virtually will be receiving their shirts and bibs via USPS in the next week.

Race Day Information

On-site registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:30 AM on 10/24 in the Lions Pavilion.

The 5k and one mile walk will begin at 7:30 AM. We will begin assembling participants at 7:15 AM and we ask that if you are walking or participating with a stroller to assemble near the back of the start line.

Advance registration has closed, but we will have on-site registration available during packet pick-up on 10/23 and beginning at 6:30 AM toon race morning, so please encourage your family and friends to sign up if they would like to join us and celebrate our epilepsy warriors!

Race Activities

The Bubble Bus will be onsite with music and bubbles from 8-9 AM and Sammy J Balloons will be making fantastic balloon art for everyone to enjoy!

We also have some fantastic auction items available for you to bid on and a fun photo opportunity for you and your family and friends.

The Seize the Day event helps raise much needed funds and awareness for those impacted by epilepsy in Missouri and Kansas. This family-friendly event features a 5K run and walk that attracts hundreds of enthusiastic participants each year. 

Your participation in our event helps us provide services and support to the nearly 200,000 people in Missouri and Kansas living with epilepsy.
