Wichita Seize the Day
5k Run/Walk
About the Campaign
Join us on Sunday, October 16th, 2022 at the Horseshoe Shelter at Sedgwick County Park as we raise much needed funds and awareness for those impacted by epilepsy in Kansas and Missouri. This family-friendly event features a 5K run and walk that attracts over a hundred enthusiastic participants each year.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas proudly leads the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder. In fact, 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy during their lifetime, and 1 in 10 people will experience a seizure during their lifetime.
Your participation in our event helps us provide services and support to the nearly 200,000 people in Missouri and Kansas living with epilepsy.
We're fundraising for the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas to make a difference!
You can help fundraise for the cause once you register. Or just make a donation.
