2023 WNY GRIEF TRAINING AND CHILD LOSS SYMPOSIUM
In partnership with the Erie County Department of Mental Health
May 19th and 20th
Grief is a life-altering experience that needs and deserves understanding, support, and community. Loss of a loved one is one of the most major stressors of our human existence. We all have a social responsibility to learn how to best support people who are bereaved.
P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative is proud to partner with the Erie County Department of Mental Health and Rich Family Foundation to bring trainers to WNY from the internationally acclaimed Dougy Center out of Portland, Oregon. Dougy Center, The National Center for Grieving Children & Families, was founded in 1982 and their model is considered a 'gold standard' of practice in the field of grief and loss.
