It takes two years and tens of thousands of dollars to raise and train a single Saint Francis Service Dog, and we rely on the generosity of people like you to do it! 

During Barks 'n Rec, people from all walks of life pledge to do their favorite rec activities to raise funds for Saint Francis Service Dogs.   Challenge yourself to walk 70K steps during the week.  Read a book and review it.  Teach your dog a new trick.  Dance.  Skateboard.  Paint. Whatever you like to do for fun, pledge to do it for Saint Francis.

• Join in on the fun by signing up and choosing an activity. 
• Create your very own fundraising page, set your goal, and share your participation with your friends and family in the weeks leading up to and during the event, so that they can support you in your activity.  
• Share photos of yourself (and your furry friends if you have them!) completing your activity on social media during Barks ‘n Rec Week, May 12-18, using the hashtag #barksnrec2025. 

Your registration includes an event t-shirt, bandana for your furry friend, and eligibility for our special Barks ‘n Rec rewards and prizes!
