Reuel Rogers leads this 90 minute $1 community workshop.
Reuel will be teaching the best segments of the different techniques that he uses to mix and create his eclectic dance style, including kung fu, breaking, modern, and tricking. Class will include Stretching technique, ways to interpret different music, and the connection between jumping and falling to the floor.
Level: Open
The ideal student would be dancers and athletes that wish to add and control dynamics to their dance style and find a deeper layer of expression. Essential is the attitude, patience and willingness to learn.
This workshop is limited to 20 students.

Battery’s home is a 125-year-old loft building with a stone façade in the Italian fashion. It sits on the Northeast corner of Broadway & White Street, two blocks South of Canal Street. It can be easily recognized by the Nino Mier Gallery that occupies the ground floor of the building and has signage. Our studios are located on the 5th floor (ring buzzer #5).

$1.00Please wear loose, comfortable sports clothing that can allow for gliding on the floor and that offers the least restriction to flexibility. Bringing a towel would also be recommended. No street shoes please; soft soled dance shoes and sneakers are ok.
