About the Event
In addition to a paddle-raise to help fund Lid I-5’s civic engagement program, we’ll have lots of interesting and inspiring activities, including:
• Presentations of visions for new lids, created by community leaders in Center City
• Complimentary heavy hor d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails
• A new short film about Lid I-5 and other lids around the country
• A mini charrette for you to help design the future

Thanks to your help, we’re building momentum to create more freeway lids to address our needs for parks, housing, and schools, while we heal the scars caused by freeways. It’s not often a city gets to do something really big, but Seattle’s done it before and we’re ready to do it again!
