Diwali on the Hudson – NYC’s Longest-Running Diwali Party!
Now in its 12th year, Diwali on the Hudson has become one of New York City’s most anticipated and largest Diwali events. What began as a small community gathering has grown into a sold-out annual celebration that brings together friends, professionals, and changemakers to honor the Festival of Lights all while supporting the impactful work of the Desai Foundation.
Hosted at HK Hall in Hell’s Kitchen, the evening features live entertainment, Indian food, dancing, and the opportunity to connect with a vibrant and passionate community. The event also draws notable guests, including celebrities, influencers, and community leaders, and has been featured by major outlets such as Good Morning America.
It’s more than a Diwali party; it’s a chance to celebrate culture, connect with others, and learn about how the Desai Foundation is empowering women and children across rural India through health, livelihood, and menstrual equity programs.
