WEATHER UPDATE!

We are proceeding with the 4pm plunge today, and will have plunging from 4:00pm-5:30pm. The After-Splash bash will wrap-up early to allow for safer travel after the event.

Plungers who are NOT able to join us can either:

Pick up your shirt & additional incentives TODAY @ the BYC from 1pm-3pm
If you do NOT pick-up today or attending the plunge, we will MAIL you sweatshirt and additional incentive items to you.

In agreement with our Dive/Safety Team and Event Sponsors, we will NOT be hosting the later-evening 6-7pm plunge.

Here's what to expect:

POLAR PLUNGE:

3pm - Plunge Check-In Opens & Pre-Plunge Party

Turn in cash & check donations, get your incentives, prepare to plunge!

4:00pm-5:30pm - Plunge into Detroit River

Plungers will walk out on the docks and plunge into a boat slip. Dive Team will be there to assist you out of the water.

All spectators should remain on shore and on the spectator docks.

During/After - Cold Splash Bash & Awards

Slider Bar is included for all plungers who raise $100+.

Drinks (& Food for spectators) available for purchase on-site.

FROZEN 5k

3pm - Frozen 5k check-in opens. (check-in anytime before 4:30pm)

4:30pm - Frozen 5k begins.

Frozen 5k Participants can either participate in the charity walk as a group, or run at their own pace (not monitored).

FROZEN 5K DETAILS:

All participants can turn in additional funds raised and collect any incentives earned at the Plunger / 5k Check-In Area
All participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt and medal on-site.
All participants are encouraged to stay and cheer for the Plunge participants, and are welcome to enjoy the pre-splash and after-splash festivities.

Bayview Yacht Club

Bayview Yacht Club is a private, riverfront venue on the Detroit River. Plungers will plunge into an inland harbor, with plunge party taking place in the clubhouse and heated party tent. Limited parking available on-site, and secured off-site parking available with shuttle-service from a neighboring park.
